When Everything Felt Bigger
My first impression when I visited the United States on a business trip was simple: everything felt big. The roads were wider, the buildings taller, and the cities seemed almost artificial in their scale. Seattle and New York had very different characters, yet both felt like newly built worlds compared to the cities I was familiar with. Strangely, I did not immediately think of them as beautiful. What fascinated me instead was the culture.
